Radiant salutes Rotaractors for promoting community development

Beauty brand Radiant applauded Rotaractors for promoting development across the country through community service.

The brand recognized the role of Rotaractors in celebrating 54 years of community service by Rotaract clubs in Tanzania and Uganda under Rotaract District 9214.

The Rotaract clubs of Tanzania and Uganda are made up of over 84 clubs with over 1500 members from Tanzania and part of Uganda hence the name Rotaract District 9214.

The membership of the clubs is rather diverse with an almost equal ratio of men and women and professionals ranging from teachers, engineers, medical workers, computer scientists, entrepreneurs, among others.

Speaking at the anniversary celebration held on March 12, 2022, Catherine Mulanghi, Radiant Brand Manager, said, “Rotaractors have complemented our efforts as a brand to raise people’s standard of living. through community services.

She praised the clubs for allowing Radiant to join the team in celebrating the milestone, noting that the brand is passionate about promoting development.

“As a brand, we strongly support the work of Rotaract clubs, and over time we have developed a strong appreciation for the role they play in our communities,” Mulanghi said, adding that the brand is about giving young people the means to improve their abilities through looking good and feeling good to break down all the barriers that stand in the way of changing the world.

The event brought together more than 200 Rotaractors led by Peace District Governor-elect Taremwa.

In his remarks, Talemwa said, “We are committed to continuing to support communities as our primary focus this year.”
