This can increase the safety of residents, visitors and law enforcement. Outreach efforts include all segments of our communities, including people from:

    • various denominations
    • races
    • ethnicities
    • socio-economic backgrounds
    • cultural traditions
    • genre
    • sexual orientations

OCE contains the community affairs section and the heritage affairs section.

Community Affairs Section

The Community Affairs Section works with:

    • community leaders
    • non-profit
    • legislators
    • other law enforcement agencies

We build positive and proactive relationships with residents and visitors to Pennsylvania. Community Affairs Officers (CAOs) develop these relationships in underserved communities across the Commonwealth. They work with minority groups, mental health advocacy groups and those in need. CAOs also focus on educating the public on the role of law enforcement. The result is stronger relationships and increased trust. General Managers can be contacted at the telephone numbers below or by e-mail at ra-spoce@pa.gov. Ideas for improving the relationship between your community and law enforcement are always welcome.
