SCHILLER PARK, Ill., January 7, 2022 / CNW / – Encore, a global leader in event technology and production services, today announced that Amanda armstrong was appointed SVP, Brand and Community Engagement. Armstrong will oversee the company’s industrial relations, thought leadership, communications and brand functions within the marketing team.

Most recently, Armstrong was assistant vice president of Enterprise Holdings, Inc., the global parent company of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo and National Car Rental. At Enterprise, she managed the event planning department overseeing all aspects of corporate meetings, including research, planning and operation of all national and licensee meetings around the world.
Just as important as Armstrong’s professional background is his active involvement in the events industry. She is a member of the Event Industry Council’s COVID-19 Recovery Working Group and was the 2018 Chair of the International Board of Directors of Meeting Professionals International (MPI). His journey of volunteer leadership began on Saint Louis Board of Directors and she co-chaired MPI WEC in Saint Louis in 2011. In addition, she served on the Guest Advisory Board for Hyatt Hotels and the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission. Armstrong was also named in the top five for women of influence by MeetingsNet Magazine and one of the 25 most influential people in the dating industry by Successful Meetings Magazine.
