PLANET 2050, the company’s environmental sustainability strategy, includes nine goals timed to 2030 that cover everything from reducing greenhouse gases (GHGs) produced by Cummins facilities and operations as well as GHGs from newly sold products, reducing volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions from plants and facilities, and establishing life cycle plans for each part.
If it is still relatively early, Cummins made progress in 2021 on both reducing GHG emissions from factories and facilities and working with customers to reduce GHGs from products in use. Cummins is also on track to reduce VOCs from facilities and operations and reduce water consumption across the business.
INNOVATION AND SUPPLY CHAIN
