The Ottawa Police Services Board (OPSB) has launched a community engagement process to assist in the search for the next Chief of the Ottawa Police Service (OPS).
The community engagement process is being led by Ottawa-based firm Hefid Solutions, in conjunction with executive search firm Odgers Berndtson, previously hired by OPSB to help with the recruiting process.
Hefid Solutions designed an engagement strategy to give all Ottawa residents the opportunity to have their voice heard on what they would like to see in the future Chief of Police. The engagement strategy includes several options for providing feedback, including an online survey, group engagement sessions, and one-on-one interviews.
