Information from the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics for Underserved Populations (RADx-UP) initiative provides timely insight into community testing support strategies to respond to COVID-19 surges and variants. In this guidance document, we offer a policy framework to identify common barriers to fair testing for COVID-19 and facilitate the scaling up of solutions that have emerged to address them. We identify five key policy levers and three building blocks that are needed to lead to measurable improvements in health equity. Our goal is for health leaders, including policymakers, community organizers, and other health practitioners, to use these community-engaged policy strategies to inform community testing for future outbreaks and variants of COVID- 19.

Please visit the RADx-UP Health Equity Policy home page to access a Community Summary which summarizes our policy document for Community Partners in English and Spanish.
